Naahu Tribes string band is back yet again this year. This time around we believe our Fans will love the melodies and enjoy the songs.
Like every string band album, there are three love songs, one religious song, one about broken marriage and the rest are 'message' songs.
This album is dedicated to the late pilot, our wantok and brother Captain John Mark Bani who passed away on December 19th. 2008 when the plane he was flying, went down in a remote area of the western part of Espiritu Santo island.
We will always remember him in the song entitled, 'Tribute to late Captain john Mark Bani'. We believe it will touch the hearts of many people who knew him, from the Torba province right through to the Tafea Province.
The songs 'Balihae Yu Home Blong Mi' and 'Tau langwa Hamburu' are dedicated to all West Ambaeans throughout Vanuatu and abroad. They will remind you of where home really is.
First and foremost we would like to give thanks to our Almighty God, without Him we couldn't have completed this album. A special thank you to Mr. Wesley Ngwango and family and MP for West Ambae Mr. James Ngwango. A very big thank you to the 'West Ambae Rankarea Community' in Port Vila for their continued support and belief in 'tambe na tatanda'. Last but not least, we won't forget our little Christiani Kwevira-Navitora Bani and her parents for accommodating us during the making of this album.
To our Fans throughout Vanuatu and abroad, we believe you will enjoy this one even more. Please download our original tracks and support our cause. Happy listening !
